Married in January's hoar and rime, Widowed you'll be before your prime.
Married in February's sleepy weather, Life you'll tread in time together.
Married when March winds shrill and roar, Your home will be on a distant shore.
Married beneath April's changing skies, A checkered path before you lies.
Married when bees over May blossoms flit, Strangers around your board will sit.
Married in the month of roses — June, Life will be one long honeymoon.
Married in July with flowers ablaze, Bittersweet memories on after days.
Married in August's heat and drowse, Lover and friend in your chosen spouse.
Married in September's golden glow, Smooth and serene your life will go.
Married when leaves in October thin, Toil and hardship for you gain.
Married in veils of November mist, Fortune your wedding ring has kissed.
Married in days of December cheer, Love's star shines brighter from year to year.

these few words, right here, totally made my day that much better:
A heavy metal umlaut (aka röck döts)...
that, along with laura branigan's video "gloria" on youtube.

on sunday, as my mom and i were shopping in old navy, i heard "poprocks & coke" over the loudspeakers. it's been forever since i last heard that.
i'm sure i could play it on the drums now.

i want to take this opportunity to say just how much all four of you suck. yes, i mean it! i have never been so lonely. just sitting here, my job ending a week early, completely by myself with no one to watch wondershowzen or to go to house of pies with. yes, i'm mad! yes, of course i've met new people, through work or other venues, but do you really believe that they would be even more than half the people you guys are?! seriously, what am i to do? i've already friends with the coolest people in houston, and now they leave me...for savannah, for seattle, for england, for their man-oriented relations? bah!
i don't want to hang out with my mom or coworkers anymore.

i'm back. the north is beautiful (well, anything north of the chicagoland). i'm tired, somewhat lonely. the future is still uncertain for my family, but the best thing to do now is relax and enjoy the remaining summer.
oh, does anyone have like an extra job for my dad?

i really hate the feeling that i'm swallowing suture material.
in other news, hey! my stitches are dissolving! i think i'm almost back to normal. also, my bite doesn't line up anymore - perhaps my molars have moved.

lately i've experienced some wicked stomach pains. i still can't chew comfortably with my molars, and my lame chewing skills lead me to swallow a lot of things not-well-masticated. so my stomach's got a TON of extra acid which kills me when there's nothing in it! i'm burning myself away! nooooo!

lunch today consisted of milk, brownies fudgey, risotto, and orangina. about to wash it all down with a big helping of listerine.
the pain still lingers.
[EDIT]: have any of you watched "Infarto" yet? so awesome. and GEODUCKS TONIGHT AT EIGHT DISCOVERY CHANNEL!

i took one of my co-workers to an indian dinner and got her hooked on my favorite restaurant. we've made plans to go again tuesday evening, bringing a third co-worker along as well. i can hardly wait for the feasting! and i have to eat as much indian food as possible before i have surgery and lose four teeth this coming friday! eep.
PS - the first co-worker that i took graduated from EHS!! back when it really was infested with, well, illegal substances. so crazy. plus, customers keep asking us if we're sisters. ??? i don't think we look alike besides having brown hair, brown eyes, and white skin.

i've happily been spending some time with laura whilst in the dallas-area-thing. she just returned from five/six weeks in Japan. we went out for sushi - i finally tried some with cream cheese. delicious! and yes, they do sell used panties over there, "the messier the better." - Laura
how many out there are fedz up with that pearl jam VH1 storytellers advertisement? "um this is storytellers; we're here to tell stories." ...
i admit, the first time, i was all like "hells ya pearl jam!" but that sentiment rapidly deflated into a dear-god-you're-embarrassing-this-is-awkward-like-we-had-oral-sex-and-ran-into-each-other-in-the-mcdonald's-line thing. yeah.
speaking of ads, i swear that new burger king is singing "big fucking chicken."
def leppard's cover of "rock on" sux.
HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY BABAH!
